FanVori ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your email address, display name, and password (stored as a secure hash). Creators also provide a username.

Profile information

Creators may optionally provide a bio, avatar URL, and banner URL. This information is publicly visible on creator pages.

Content

Images, videos, and other files you upload to the Platform are stored on our servers. Content visibility is controlled by the settings you choose (Public, Subscriber-only, or Pay-Per-View).

Payment information

We do not store payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We receive transaction records (amount, date, payer) from Stripe for payout calculation purposes.

Usage data

We may collect information about how you use the Platform, including log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and device information.

Communications

If you send messages through the Platform or contact our support team, we retain those communications.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Platform.
To process payments and calculate creator payouts.
To send account-related notifications (subscription renewals, new subscribers, security alerts).
To enforce our Terms of Service and respond to abuse reports.
To comply with legal obligations, including CSAM reporting requirements.
To communicate with you about updates or changes to the Platform.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.
Cloud storage providers: Uploaded files are stored with a cloud storage provider (e.g. Azure Blob Storage in production).
Legal requirements: We will disclose information where required by law, court order, or government authority, including mandatory reporting of CSAM to NCMEC.
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

5. Public Content

Content you mark as "Public" is accessible to anyone on the internet, including non-registered users. Creator usernames, display names, bios, and public content are visible without logging in. Do not post information publicly that you wish to keep private.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use browser local storage to maintain your session (authentication token) and user preferences (such as dark/light theme). We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers. We may use analytics tools to understand Platform usage in aggregate.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
Objection: Object to certain processing of your data.

10. Children's Privacy

This Platform is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.

11. International Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection rules than your country of residence.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
